So... I was at this party in school. Everything was going great. Everyone was having fun and I was with a bunch of guys having fun with the Rubik's Cube. It's a bummer that I forgot to ask for a video of the party. Besides that, I also forgot to ask for some pictures.
Actually, a week before the party, I was planning to make up for not giving my "manita" for not giving her a present for her birthday this 030708(mmddyy). I planned to give her a cake(Strawberry Shortcake) and a pair of Havaianas slippers. But... Due to the unfortunate constraint in the budget(a big sum of money was needed to be withdrawn from my mom's bank account to pay my tuition fee), there were some necessary changes in my plans.
One day before the party, me and my family went to SM Bacolod to buy some presents. First, we went to look at some bags. I didn't see anything good or anything appropriate for her style. Second, we looked at some slippers. Apparently, I didn't know her size. Finally, we went back to the bags. My mom chose one. There was something wrong about her saying that it was cute. Seriously, I tried my best to look at it in various points of view. All attempts had the same result. It was horrible.
Fortunately, my sister saw some bags that were more.. *cough* "kikay". I saw one that was perfect! It took me one look to know that she was gonna love it! Finally, we went to the counter to cash my "manita's" present.
While my dad was falling in line, I saw some stuffed toys. They were called "Lucky Cows". I think it's a Chinese thing. I was thinking about buying it for her instead. But I though about it a little more then decided that it was too common, many people might give them as presents to their loved ones, and my effort in choosing the bag would have been for nothing. There was more value in that bag than the stuffed toy even though the stuffed toy was more expensive...
Let's go back to the party... She was wearing casual attire and I was wearing what I wore when I played at the Family Day Battle of the Bands. That is a black shirt with a white dragon, jeans, and shoes with dragons. It's all in the theme really...
The party was fun. Before anything else, we ate. Then, there was this apple eating game where couples needed to eat the hanged apple with their hands behind their backs. Of course, there was no surprise that she* and him* were partners. I don't know if their lips met or anything. It wouldn't matter anyway. There were some events that contributed to the game's fun factor.
* The hole on the floor where the piece of wood Therese stepped on used to be.
* Miguel's brace.
* And the loosely tied apples that, obviously, fell.
2 guys who were almost finished with their apple were totally pwned when their apple fell of the string and went to the next floor down through the hole in the floor.
A chunk of the apple stuck in Miguel''s brace. If only you were there..
And the apples that fell...
After the game, we were to give our presents to our respective manitos and manitas. I was expecting that we would each be given a time to give them to our manitos and manitas. Thus, some more changes to my plans. I hesistated a bit but I finally did it.
I gave her the gift. My classmates were very loud that time but I wasn't going to let that stop me... Especially, this masterplan... Then, I took my guitar and told her that the gift came with a song. My friend Matt-thee-you broke a string some time before this but I dealt with it. All I needed to play a song was one string anyway. My #1 string usually broke faster than the others but, this time, I had four:
E
x
D
G
b
x
x = broken string
Then, I did it. I played her Passenger's Seat by Stephen Speaks with 4(four) strings!!! It was really weird when I had to laugh loudly at my classmate getting a "Maxim" magazine. But I went on with the song anyway. Of course, I frequently looked down while singing. But I occasionally looked at her and smiled. And she occasionally hugged my present even though it was not opened yet. But there was something there when she** looked at me. I finished the song, asked her if she liked it, and she did! She told me that she was going to open her present when she got home.
A few minutes after, I opened my present. It was a scarf! I actually thought that I would hate this thing but it really rocked! I wear it in lots of different ways. Reminds me of gaiaonline...
Then after that, nothing much actually happened. We went up to film for our TLE project
From that night, we frequently chatted on Yahoo.

1st and 2nd in Battle of the Bands!!!- Family day
You heard right. It was awesome! That means that I have 2 bands that won in 2 different places. I don't have the vids and pics yet but I'll put them up once I get them. Let me explain the details in the next paragraph.
First, I'll talk about my band that won 2nd. I was, actually, surprised that we came 2nd. The only song we practiced well was "That's What You Get" by Paramore. Then, we practiced the 2 other songs during family day. We only practiced the 2 songs with an acoustic guitar but we got it right(not that perfect but, at least, palatable). I was astonished about their achievement! It was totally awesome. I know that I was only a drummer in their band but I did many things just for them to be able to play.
They told me to be a drummer. 2 days before Family Day. Family Day was on a Sunday! That night, I listened to their chosen songs and learned them. Since I know how to play 3 instruments, it was a no-brainer for me. The next day, I practiced with my other band, which I will talk about later, before I practiced with my second band. We practiced around 4 p.m then ended up at 6:30 p.m . At first, the rythm guitarist and bassist had some problems because
they didn't get some parts of the song but I tought them and it went alright. They got the song before the practice session ended. We jammed the 2 other songs with an acoustic guitar. Then, the day came. They, unexpectedly, did well.
We played:
1. Tropical Depression - Kapayapaan
2. Jingle Bell Rock
3. Paramore - That's What You Get
Second, I'll talk about my main band. The one that came first. They're the most awesome friends ever. We got the songs right with no problems. Only with the bassist. E.R was the bassist in both bands. Main point is that he doesn't understand chords or notes. He just knows where to put his fingers. I had to work a little bit harder on him. Good thing though that he was a fast learner. We had some funny experiences in our practice sessions.
We played:
1. Rivermaya - Liwanag sa Dilim
2. Orange and Lemons - Tuloy tuloy pa rin ang Pasko
3. Maroon 5 - This Love
Things related to this post that I still remember:
# Tope messed up in one of our practice sessions. We were singing I'm Yours by Jason Mraz then after the "Love love love love love" part, he sang the chorus of "You'll Always Be My Baby" by David Cook. It turned out like: Love love love love love... You'll always be a part of me *break* *laugh*
#Rockhouse charges P 130/hr while the one in Airport charges P 230. Though the place in Airport has an airconditioner, it's still pretty disturbing.
#I really need to need to teach E.R how to read chords.
#I have to stop John Paul from putting too much guitar licks in songs.
#Fnghxv smiled when I looked at her in the place at Airport. I felt something there. Still feel it when I remember that moment. DAMN!!!
#There is no #6
#Nevfn said to me, "Rakista ka guid ya Ray ya.. forever." . Or something like that. She looked so shy. I could have hugged her. Instead, I just said thank you and touched her shoulder or vice versa. Damnit...
#I didn't have the chance to buy a grande Zagu after the performance. Felt really bad...
#I messed up after the 1st chorus in "That's What You Get"
#This is my last Family Day Battle of the Bands in high school.
#ebg13 vf njrfbzr!
#This is the twelvth reason. The 12th month is December. December is the last month. I guess, that means this is the end of this post.

Posting in my blag through the interwebz
Totally awesome things have been happening lately. Like... I've previously made a program I called pyMutation. It calculates permutations using 2 kinds of factorial functions. 1)Recursive factorial function which calls itself 2)Iterative factorial function which repeats an action in a loop. It's not actually meant to be a stand alone program. I'm planning to write a kind of a calculator using everything I've learned from my Statistics elective subject at school.
Just installed Xubuntu Linux on my 257 RAM desktop recently and it's awesomely fast!!! I'm totally digging the command line tools. I'm frequently using Vi, finch, mplayer, and mp3blaster. I'm using curl to update my twitter account too. Haven't really the time to customize my desktop so here it is:
Discovering stuff on the interwebz. Firstly, xkcd. Like.. It's totally awesome. It's the only best read on the internet. Second, twitter. I think I got addicted when I learned that I can update it from the command line with curl. Rad. Lastly, Multiply... Since I forgot most of what I learned from w3schools about making a website, I figured that I should just use this just for the spirit of procrastination.
Planning on learning some more Python. I'm gonna try to get used to some concepts. Like... taking a break before going back to C. The fact that C doesn't have built in support for strings is... Really stresses me out.
Damn... totally have too many Programming languages I want to learn... I know I already know some. Like... I did already make a GUI program using Java. I made pyMutation with Python. I still know some standard IO in C. I think I still remember how to print "Hello World!" in C++ .... But I'm not satisfied... I want to master one.. ONLY ONE!!! I planned to master C but it was too hard then I tried Python.. which is making me impatient to go back to C...
Also getting the hang of distributing my programs. I googled self extracting exe and I got the answer with 7zip. I'm still feeling guilty about turning my Python program into an exe... *sniff*
As with my social life, I think I'm turning self conscious again... Everything around me is totally up in my head. I try to think up what people are thinking of what I'm doing. I'm trying not to get mistaken for anything. I try to prevent looking like I'm staring at someone. I try to prevent looking like flirting with someone...
It's all because of these 2 girls... They haven't done anything at all. Never. I'm just really crushing on 1 and totally turned on by the other one... The first one is really who I want. The second one has those innocent eyes and nice hair, body and~ Dinosaur: *raaaawr* ...
It's sembreak and I'm trying to make the most of it so...

Been a long time...
It always is. I don't seem to be posting here frequently. The reason is that my... because... it's...
Procrastination
I always find what I'm looking for at the end of summer. It's true. Considering what has happened in my life. It will and always will be true. Unless, something cool and unexpectedly awesome happens in the middle of summer. If I'm lucky, when summer begins.
Every time my summer vacation begins, I always try to discover anything. Only, to discover that I have wasted my time when the vacation is just about to end.
I don't think a hard blow will hit me in the end. I'm already beaten up by lots of mistakes.
I'm still on programming and web developing. Recently, I studied HTML, XHTML, XML(Only the beginning of the tutorial), and CSS.
I'm trying to make my own hand-coded(I don't know if that's the correct word to use but...) website. My procrastination is growing stronger because school's about to start though.
I'mma post a screencast of what I'll do before I sleep cause screencasts are kewl.
(don't mind the senselessly "visible" red dot.)
(I'll just upload it next time. I'll edit this post.)
Good Night to everyone reading this while sufing teh interwebz.

I don't know what to call this... Do you?
I just discovered that you can really find interesting things if you explore.
Like what happened when I used Google to find Java IDE's. After looking at some IDE's, I thought:
"These things have everything laid out. I'll never learn Java if these IDE's tell me what to do."
Then, since I think that Windows XP's Command Prompt is a bit "weak", I tried, for some stupid reason, searching substitutions for the Command Prompt by which I got results leading me to tutorials and discussions about the Windows Command Prompt. *sigh*
Out of boredom,(Hey... I think this is a good title...........nah..) I searched for text editors. Right now, you could be thinking of the best internet slang expression that comprises of 3 big letters that you will regret after reading the next few lines.
At first, I remembered something and took a look at Notepad++. When I looked at the homepage and the rest of the site, I thought:
"Like, dude, awesome...".
I looked at the screenshots. I felt like someone told a bad pun. A very bad pun.
Then, I thought:
"Maybe its features can make up for the *(POS)* GUI it has."
I looked at the features. They were good but I marked it so I could come back after checking out other editors.
A few searches and I noticed that Emacs was always there. I checked it out. Yes, it's because that the letters G,N, and U shined in the address bar. One thing came across my mind.
"Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....eee.eeeeee..."
I looked at the FAQ's, the Mans, and the screenshots. I liked what I saw.
(I'm bored. Remember?)
Anyway, Emacs seemed to have a good reputation among programmers. That's because I read that from Wikipedia. I thought:
"This must be what I'm looking for."
It was. While I was downloading the .zip file, I surfed the site just to kill time. I came across the humor section. The fact that I don't understand most of them indicates that I have a long way to go. The song parodies really cracked me up though. Welcome to GNU Emacs. Anyone who has watched "The Sound of Music" and knows some programming might get this too... The first 5 lines are killers. The GDB song.
Now, I tried out Emacs. It was totally cool. If you ask me, I can't really explain it.
It's like:
(Tenacious D is totally awesome...)
It takes a bit of time learning it first but it's actually easy to get used to.
Screenshot of Emacs:
Yes, that's a Hello World Program. My boredom spanned from since I woke up this morning.
I'm out.

Prom! (Gaiaonline)
I went to the prom on gaiaonline. I had a date. Actually, I bought her a gown. Nothing went wrong but it was a bummer that we didn't dance. XD .. It doesn't matter though. Because if we danced, it would've looked really weird. I mean, the avatars looked like alternatively sitting and standing while turning around.
Since the event lasts until May 19th, she'll be back tomorrow and I'll be there.
Here's a pic of us on the dance floor:

I'm back!
Due to the downtime at ismywebsite.com, my site is unavailable. For the meantime, I'll be using one of it's nodes:isnumberone.org.
Lately, I've been interested in programming and I have been making programs as a hobby. Here's a picture of what I've been doing this summer:
As you can see,I'm, kind of, having a pseudo-wanton obsession.
You'll never understand me until you try it. This programming language is called BASIC but there are many more out there but this is the best one to start it until you get the principle.
Then, after that, you could learn javascript which is like BASIC on the web or you can try C++ which is much harder but more rewarding.
Right now, I'm trying to learn Flash because it never stops amazing me with what it can do on the web. Example
The web has lots of resources and I'm lucky to have it. You too because you're viewing this blog.
By the way, I won't be here permanently or temporarily. Anything goes. XD
